Actually if Colin Powell had wanted the nomination in 2000, he would have been the first black President. A shame. His time has past though.

I'm not quite sure how one concludes this, given that a black man is currently the frontrunner.

If anyone takes down Cain, I think it will be the liberal media, who are squirming. They hate him. Presumably, because he's blacker than Obama, but I'm not quite sure.

At any rate, I think Cain has a reasonable shot. He has raised over $2M this month, and if that continues it definitely puts him in the realm of a top-tier candidate.

The liberal media is still in the tank for Obama and they're going to fight it to the bitter end. But I think Republicans would LOVE to see an incompetent black man replaced by a highly competent, accomplished black man in 2012.

I'm supporting Cain just so I can see Bill Maher eat crow.
