His view is that the electronic commerce has been vastly underestimated going forward and one of the defining attributes that will separate the leaders from the laggards will be the ability to effectively manage the network which will give added value to your particular market. This applies to large and small business, in fact all enterprise, even individual. My take would be without this capability, you will not have the necessary tools to compete period. Imagine if you will, a corporation trying to do business by mail order only, I doubt such an animal exists. When you do business, the expectation is immediate access, customers unable to walk thru your virtual showroom will assume you're not open for business and go elsewhere.
