Sargent Electric Co., one of the country's oldest and largest electrical contractors, has filed for protection from creditors under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.......

In the last few years, Sargent has consistently been ranked among the nation's top 25 electrical contractors,

_______

dear llaine -- you are generally a voice of reason but WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?

where i am in Calif there are plenty of suffering tradesman. i just got an estimate from an electrician to TRIM MY TREES.

most master electricians (plumbers) work in the building industry. if construction is in the toilet these tradesmen are relegated to finding work in remodel and general maintenance.

i recently had a long conversation with our plumbers who we have used over the last 22 years. the good news is they are still in business.... the bad: they have had to move with their 3 children into one of their parents homes.

just so you know - i'm a licensed general contractor - and i think you're a wee bit out of touch.

unsure of what your point was but see that whatever others may have misunderstood, a discourse arose.

in any case, when i was 16 (1975-76) and asked by prof bauer what i thought i would do in life

at the time i was a straight F student except for german language, scoring A+ in independent studies, trying to keep up with the professor's yummy daughter.

(suggest that to get boyz to apply themselves in all manner of endeavors, pack the arena with beautiful and brainiac girlz)

i replied, "work in china, live in hong kong, next to to beach"

i did not know what i would be doing precisely, was not sure of the precise timing, but knew the place and circumstances, and saw the future, my future.

as events turned out, the timing started in 1984, to work in china, 1987 to live in hong kong, and 1988 next to the beach, the wrong beach, and finally, 1999, the right beach.

now i see the future of gold, but am unsure of the precise timing, and do not know the then actual circumstances.

recommendation, getgold.
