Well, Steve, since you were in such a hurry to tell Krugman what he was doing right and what he was doing wrong, you missed the point of his column. Which was to say, once again, this time a bit more dire but with almost perfect metaphor and rhythm ("I've got a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza), that the European situation is quite dire and getting more so. He thinks all the bandaids are only making the eventual breakup of the Euro worse. And since he's been reasonably accurate with his dire predictions, it leaves me looking for somewhere to hide.
