The thesis Chinu of all of this, is that the corporations have captured our government. That is not hyperbole, but the hard truth. So either we get our govenrment back or we end up with corporate overlords like the tom Delays, Cheney's and Perry's. And the citizens United decision is the most dangerous, although it is just a sympton of our facist supreme court. And that is not hyperbole. I wish it was. And the supreme court is just a sympton of the right wing which has been working on this for 30 years now. When Orwell wrote 1984 and Animal Farm he perceived an event exactly like what has been happening for the last 30 years. A slow and steady advance into a fascist plutocracy. So slow few even notice. In animal Farm only the pig was left with the memory of what freedom was. Read that almost 50 years ago. I am heartened by the OWS movement because it means people have awakened. Hopefully not too late. But if Obama is defeated and we get another right winger on the supreme court we are in really big trouble as a nation. You can see how venal and nuts the right wing is.
