The OWS incident you cite happened in Oakland, California. The Berkeley/Oakland area was the scene of epic, world-shaking protests and riots in the 60s such as... Free Speech Movement - UC Berkeley (1965-65) Stop The Draft Week - Oakland Induction Center (October 1967) People's Park - Telegraph Avenue (1969) This stuff with OWS is still very small potatoes compared in comparison. Let's see if today's kids can amp it up...
