Paul, re OPTIONS CONPIRACY THEORY: Thank you as this is the best explained article I have read pertinent to this. As anyone reads this keep one more thing in mind. The MM is not a person as such. The MM is a big ole brokerage house with millions and billions of dollars and hedges of all sorts to compensate risk(s). Within the brokerage agency there is certain appointed persons of course who handle particular stocks by name. But in my conversation with numerous people they seem to think that a MM is just a JOE BLOW on the street, no way,-- much bigger than an individual and powerful when it comes to resources.

...Does this mean that the stock will end up at 37.5 on expiration day?
No, for a number of reasons, but it's where the MM's INTEREST lies,
which can definitely influence the stock in the absence of news or
other forces...

This is an important point, because option-sellers are just one force out of many. They cannot move mountains. Or beached whales, like ASND. -g- Is anyone here a marine biologist? -ggg-
