Very interesting---you were thinking about it (TVIX) same time I got into it. Rode it up from the 20's to 103 and then back down to 38 and now back in the 50's. Why I didn't sell is that I found it pretty much offset the losses in my portfolio as the market dropped. I have 12% of my cash in it and it lets me sleep like a baby also because if March 08 comes again I feel it will come in around 250---300 a share given how it acted in the last 1500 point drop. Let's me stay invested for the dividends without worrying about loss of capital---assuming the thing works like it is supposed to.
