Thank you for the defence Arun. It's better to have some defenders because self-defence is a bit like self-praise - not worth all that much.

While it's true that my 2020 reglaciation claim is partly in jest, it's only partly so. The sun really will have gone into its next minimum and in 2008 it became obvious to me that there is a very long [50 year near enough] cycle of solar activity going back for hundreds of years, and that the mid to late 20th century peak was in well into decline. My guesstimate was for a sun-spot numbers to be about 60 per month [I'd have to check the record]. About half a year after I made my prediction, the solar experts decided that I was about right though they still thought it would be higher. So far, my estimate is on the money. As were the predictions for 2 cold winters [already happened] but this one shouldn't be too bad with the solar activity rapidly on the rise.

And while Sea Otter is a Denialist, she is obviously unaware that in 1989 I thought of encoding a bunch of signals then decoding at the handset using fourier transforms and the micro processing power that was then becoming available in asics. It was a total fluke that in August 1991 I met somebody from Qualcomm who told me they were working on exactly that idea. So of course I was all over it.

She is also obviously clueless that Zenbu is the best wifi by far in NZ and is booming while all the others are in deep trouble and failing. She is also ignorant that Zenbu.co.nz is now about the most highly rated of directory, search and mapping creative commons enterprises in NZ. Her judgment on success is obviously bung and shorting her business would be a good idea.

My Qualcomm startup is now worth $100 billion and has enabled $trillions in mobile Cyberspace activity and value. Not bad if I do say so myself. Globalstar has been a long term trial but I'm battling on with it [a shareholder again - third time lucky].

SO has demonstrated a total lack of reason on Global Warming and is simply a camp follower [an incantation chanter and liturgy reciter]. Her idea of debate and discussion is simply mindless insult which is never a persuasive argument. I have presented in detail my theories on carbon, atmospheric physics, water phase changes and the ecosphere [plant cover expansion and contraction] combined with plate tectonics and solar activity but to no avail.

Once reglaciation gets going, the feedback loop of expanding snow cover and cloud cover causes further cooling due to reflection of incoming sunlight. It could take as little as three years for a Little Ice Age to be obvious and maybe only a decade or two for something worse to be suspected.
