Ok, Mr. Facts, I would like to know this: On what facts do you base your claim of 'pioneer' in the PC industry? This should be easy for you, and please don't hide behind your <ggg>'s. You were serious, I think we both know that. I ask this because I happen to be aware of many people who are commonly considered poineers in the PC industry. I don't recall hearing of a 'steve' in all lowercase before. And, strangely, I cannot ever, not even once, recall any of these people ever referring to *themselves* as pioneers in the PC industry, even though others are happy to say it for them. So you must be particularly special since you are comfortable referring to yourself as a pioneer. Now if your claim to fame is that you held A JOB at Compaq before it was public, well I don't think that accomplishment alone cuts it so there must be something more. Lots of people are ex-employees of technology companies and held those jobs in the 70s and 80s. That doesn't make everyone a pioneer. So, why haven't I ever heard of you from anyone but you? Exactly what did you pioneer, or invent, or whatever? I guess I was wrong, I am interested after all. Please, sincerely, enlighten me. p.s. Fact: You derailed our conversation by launching into your "I was picking lint from my navel at Compaq before you had toes" schtick. While admittedly a stunning display of mathematics, just because you determined you are older than I am doesn't mean that you can talk to me as if I am stupid. I assure you I am not. I may not know what you know, whatever that may be, but I one thing I am not is stupid. Sell your Compaq and bet on that. Thanks, DM
