To all, been thinking last night about talks of someone else making a bid for Amati. Since Westell had a penalty clause of 14 million plus if the deal fell through, wouldn't it be prudent to believe that TXN also has such a clause but may be even more restrictive to ensure this doesn't happen to them. Just food for thought. Alvin

Jim - it's been awhile since we've threaded. Having waited a couple of years for AMTX to do something, I'm not terribly excited about the recent developments. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts re: our owning TI stock and the wisdom (or lack thereof) of staying in WSTL as a pure adsl play. Hope things are good at the Cape...Peter
