WorldVillage Signs to Use echoMEDIA's "While you
Wait"

[August 28] Newport, RI-based echoMEDIA Inc. added family-oriented Web site
WorldVillage.com to the list of sites using its While You Wait Internet ad solution,
which streams promotional material while pages are downloading. Financial details
were not released.

"The While You Wait technology provides fantastic opportunities to provide added
value for WorldVillage visitors," said Joel Comm, CEO of InfoMedia Inc. and
founder of WorldVillage.com. "Downloading software is often a mind- dulling
activity, leaving the user with nothing to do but wait. echoMEDIA has developed a
program that allows us to capitalize on lengthy download time."

Rodale Press is the first advertiser to take advantage of echoMEDIA's ad space on
the WorldVillage site.

EchoMEDIA said that during the third quarter of 1997, a new family of products
will be unveiled that will bring TV quality advertisements to the Web.

EchoMEDIA is an interactive, multimedia, advertising services company that
specializes in delivering television commercials to the Web. The company has four
products including echoAD, echoRESPONSE Card, WebDeliver, and While You
Wait. Clients include Kodak, United Airlines, Rodale Press, USA Today, and other
Fortune 500 companies.
