Sankar, I'm not telling you not to respond to Vanni, but I'm begging you (and everyone else) not to talk to Vanni. Vanni is nuts. Who else would spend hours on a thread if he doesn't have a financial interest in a stock.

It wouldn't surprise me that a lot of people were taking profits after such a run up in a stock that belongs to a shakey sector. Who knows what tomorrow's market will bring, but I would expect some more heavy selling pressure at some point tomorrow. Part of today's increase was surely due to short covering, since there were surely lots of shorts out there, given all the bad news that has been circulating about QNTM and the DD sector. And those kinds of run ups usually snap back pretty quick at some point.

Still, this volatility makes for some geat trading, doesn't it! And QNTM is the best vehicle, because basically you have a fairly stable stock that is getting jerked around by legitimate fears about the sector overall. What more could you ask for, except a money machine?

Happy Investing!

Vanni

<<Re: 600,000 shares changed hands>>
Sankar: That sounds like a large trade. But how unusual is that for this stock, given it is about 80% institutionally owned? Any thoughts about that trade? Dale
