No, I get tired and frustrated when people continually believe that we can spend our way to prosperity. And I get tired of people saying spending our way to prosperity when that was not what was done. I will repeat one more time and that's it...........private corp spending all but dried up. Consumer spending disappeared. Fear ruled the economy. The Feds stepped in.......much like FDR did during the Depression........and provided some stimulus as a bridge to when other parts of the economy were back online. And its worked..........much like it did during the Depression. Hoover economics failed just as the economics promulgated by the teapers and libertarians would have failed.
