I saw today 50% of Americans are living at or below the poverty line

That's incorrect. The number is 15%.......not that that's great......but its considerably better than 50%.

The report said the percentage of Americans living below the poverty line last year, 15.1 percent, was the highest level since 1993. (The poverty line in 2010 for a family of four was $22,314.)

" I am hoping poor Republicans figure this out and will switch parties."

Won't happen as long as they're still watching the Fox "News". All their problems are Obama's and the "liberals" fault.

The Europeans will not let the Euro down. The Brits as always have been suckers. They want access to the European market but would not want to have a common currency. I suppose it is the false sense of pride of the power of the now defunct British Crown.

So the American people have a choice between the war-mongering, elitist, thieving GOP and Barack "shred the Constitution" Obama. That's not a very good choice.
