The market value of Inco is even lower than what they have paid to Dimond field. The share price is much lower than the book value right now. It's ridiculous. Many institutions and pension fund own this stock. The Teacher pension fund of Canada held 7.1 millions shares which they paid for $42.25. The rumour is daily games in stock market. It indicates someone want take advantage to grab more shares of N in this price because most people believe the share of N eventually will come back to $40 - $50 level.
