pointed out the AT&T handsets all use Qualcomm LTE chips; my impression was they sucked equally as badly as the Verizon handsets in terms of battery life; hard to be worse.

That was definitely my point. They ALL suck and LTE performance is currently a "pain point" for consumers. There is real room for improvement and maybe differentiation here.

I guess the questions would be how much the performance is due to the network and how much due to the handsets, and if it is the handset, whether the MSM8960/MDM9x15 will be able to provide the performance necessary for customers to see a real world difference.
