Sounds ridiculous, but if you keep your USDs outside, the dollar-based cost of living is very low, the private schools are superb and most of the services are a rough equivalent of San Francisco. The key thing there is socking-it-to-the-Gringos by seizing their real estate. Don’t know what we will do, but we are certainly motivated" Your friend could simply invest his house sale money and rent in Axxxxxx..or buy investment property else where and rent...
