More Obamacare bad news, everyone....When you check your cost of drugs next time you have to get them, you'll see a big increase, even with insurance. IF the drug is a "tier 3" for example (Brand names, either new, or old in one case my Doc doesn't want generics used for this one (doesn't want the hormones to be screwed up by taking a generic Synthroid - Tonight I found the relatively new (5 years or so) brand name one went up by 25%....and the synthroid go up by more than 100% when I get it on the 10th...

Turns out the Medicare (i.e. written by Congress) and insurance companies agreed not only to increase the cost of the Drug insurance Part D , but agreed on changes (INCREASES) to at least the Tier 2 and Tier 3 drugs...

Just so those of you who aren't Medicare age....we pay
Medicare A (Hospital insurance) -
Free Although only the government can call something free that one has paid into their entire working life.... PLUS the hospitals boot you out on a pre-designed hourly schedule, depends on what was done....i.e. heart attack....after 2.5 days I think the number is...

Medicare Part B - Doctors and some Drugs
I think the premium for this is up to about $147 or so a month now....Increase from last year.

Medicare Supplement - This monthly premium will be up as well, and if Obamacare happens in full force, it will be dramatically up....(think this one is about $150ish/mo)

Drug Part D (if you have it)
Cost up - depends on your coverage

Bigger CoPays on the drugs you do get.....

So much for all that "Free" medical help Seniors get.....

And yes, I KNOW how much the premiums are if you aren't 65 or so yet.....THAT's one reason why the Tea Party Folks went out in force.....We wanted a realistic overhaul of the entire medical situation to see why costs are so high....so what did we get???

....Higher prices on everything, and more people covered at high costs that the Taxpayers have to pay too...

Humbug....
