A few observations

Yeah - I'm a homer but......

1) Aaron Rodgers has had a great year but Brees is as deserving (or more) of being the NFL MVP. Maybe Co - MVP's? Brady is in the discussion too because he's done more with far less at the WR position and his numbers are fantastic. Maybe co-co MVP's

2) Between defensive issues and a little decline in offensive efficiency I think the Packers have issues. Injuries on the O-line and D-line hurt but they should be at full strength after their first round bye. That said, even at full strength, I think the Packers have lost some mo mo and their deficiencies show. The loss of Cullen Jenkins was a huge hit because teams had to account for him which gave Matthews opportunities that he's not getting this year.

3) The Eagles were starting to come around and, at least imo, they were a team I didn't want to deal with in the playoffs. They were just starting to gel - as I watched them play I was reminded of GB last year.

4) NFC teams with mo mo - Det, NO and SF

5) The Packers will lose to Det next week
