followed by
Oriental Summers
followed by
Occidental Falls
followed by
Kondratiev Winters
followed by
some Unforeseen Spring ...........

until there is nobody left to witness the
seasons.

The very first original and brilliant thinker I know to talk about such things was Oswald Spengler, in The Decline of The West.

These Oswalds seem to be rather original guys. :)
