Then why didn't Clinton implement Kyoto? Wasn't Enron part of "Big Oil"? After all, liberal mythology says Enron wrote the Cheney energy plan. If that claim is true, why can't you point at things the Bush administration did for Enron?

------------------------------------------------------------

<<Why didn't the Bush administration come through with a bailout like Robert Rubin asked them to?>>

The Bush Administration saw the political liability of Enron with little gain,

So they were smart and didn't bail out Enron, even though Clinton's Treasury Secretary called up the Bush administration to ask them to.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

neocons like Robert Rubin are despised by liberals, openly.

Liberals despise a lot of people. But Rubin was Clinton's Treasury guy and liberals love Clinton.
