" if you think that then you have no idea just how far the left can go"

I met a young communist in Arcata, CA. carrying a sign in the courthouse square there saying "private property is a crime!". I think that's about as far left as things get in America! I advised him that he will lead a lonely life.

Here is what you said;

<iHuntsman is good for the country only if you want to end the safety net, end social security as we know it, end medicare as we know it, end a woman's right to choose, end much of the regulatory capability of the federal government, enhance the already enhanced economic and social inequality in this country, seriously undermine public education, and so on. And I'm only getting started.

I think that misrepresents Huntsman. Here is his position on SS for instance;

The person destroying Social Security - IMO, is Obama. By keeping with the reductions of payments into SS, it now joins the ranks of those programs underfunded with no hope of getting adequate funding given our demographics slamming us in the near future. ........I understand your desire to get this money from the rich, but how are you going to do that if the public refuses to elect those willing to do so? I think half of the democrats are very naive to think SS and medicare will continue to exist in their current form.
