This definitely a Republican board and I have definitely had enough of Obama. He hates the stock market. He's going to make the debt issue a political football again and screw with the markets some more! I hate him. Even Clinton managed to have an orderly market.

I'll say this though. There needs to be a thoughtful debate among Republicans on the issues and there are a few posters who do lean too far to the fanatic right. Some are foaming at the mouth to eliminate social security which would hurt so many people. They depict anyone receiving benefits as a useless freeloader and that's a big fault of Republicans. They are all pro business and have no heart. Instead of throwing millions of Americans out into the cold how about finally delivering on Reagan's promises to reduce the size and scope of government!! Reagan never delivered on that and Republican candidates never promise that or work for that anymore. Not one single government department has been eliminated in 30 years but many new and expensive ones have been started. Why is government growing when their is a deficit? Why not have a constitutional amendment that politicians can't etsablish new departments when the government is running a deficit and can't pay for it! Living on borrowed money is "business as usual" for Republicans these days as well as the Demohacks. Someone needs to redirect the Republican party and get back to these basics and not talk about it and then forget it after the election.

Ken would rather hang here with the productive, level-headed Americans than with the emotional basketcases on liberal threads. Probably makes him feel safe and secure, because he realizes even though we don't agree with his wrong-headed political beliefs, we acknowledge that as an American he's entitled to them. OTH, the liberal threads will not permit differences of opinion - you fall in line with Democrat unionization of thought police or they pummel you with ignorant expletives.
