Who cares though if the Kyobo is a terrible flop? It is basically an R&D product that just happens to get shipped.

The key questions for investors are the performance of the screen and the ramp in manufacturing yields. Hopefully the site will publish their thoughts on the screen soon. The comment on the power consumption wasnt great, but really that depends on usage.

Trevor, re: Kyobo Mirasol eReader ...................................................

" Believing that Nate the Great has an agenda might not be in your best interest. "

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just pointed out that Nate, in his own words, considers himself a Malcontent (crouch / complainer/ moaner) at Large.

………. somebody who is discontented or dissatisfied, especially somebody who seems continually or chronically discontented

Also that his website places a competitors ad front / center at top of page.

Over the years some of us have noticed some "journalists" / media types have expressed a certain bias against QCOM...... ABQ. Additionally, sometimes the ones with the biggest advertising budgets get the best reviews ( …..Good Housekeeping seal of approval).

Also, as others have posted, I find it strange that few of the critiques of this product even mention the readability in sunlight feature, one of the top two selling points of Mirasol and a major reason for Q's entry into the MEMs display arena.

I also noticed Nate stated ….. “I freely admit that I bought this just to see the screen,…..”

A couple of comments about the above;

..1) Nate had to fork out his own cash to take a look…..nothing like a complimentary product to remove some of the moaning, right?

..2) Nate says he bought it for the screen, but again **never** mentioned the screen's readability in sunlight feature…. Wonder if he even took it outside in the sun????????????????
