---> Windows Phone is typically more efficient than Android in terms of power consumption

This an interesting comment. Has anyone seen any quantitative proof of this statement? I remember Microsoft demoing power usage of Snapdragon chipsets at their developer event last June but I thought that was a Win 8 demo. There is likely similar experiments with WP7 but I've yet to see any. I've also never seen any comparison of power between WP7 and Android. Comparing a couple HTC phones with similar guts and different operating systems might give one a inkling. Maybe I'll go looking in that direction.
