Whites were not brought here as slaves... Please look up white slaves in Google or Bing, and the origin of the word slave. Please look up if there were black slave owners. My ancestors had no slaves, brought no slaves, bought no slaves, owned no slaves, and I don't feel responsible 300 years later for some that did. It's not a problem today in the US.

The trade ended with American independence, but the British still tried to sell convicts in their former colonies, which prompted one of the most audacious plots in Anglo-American history.

What??? So you would support: Congressional Black Caucus, Black Entertainment Television, Miss Black America, the United Negro College Fund, affirmative action, civil rights laws, gerrymandering, Jet magazine, Ebony magazine, LaRaza, etc.? And not support: Further, would you support a Congressional White Caucus, White Entertainment Television, Miss White America, the United White College Fund, affirmative action to ensure that more heterosexual White males are hired, special gerrymandering to ensure that more Whites are elected, White magazines, White political advocacy groups, etc.? That's your white guilt speaking, you can't be serious... the fact is they were sold to slave traders by their own black brothers, and that was hundreds of years ago, what does that have to do with anything today? I never owned a slave, nor did my parents or my grand parents... my grand parents came to the united States legally from Europe, they never owned slave there either, so what does your point have to do with anything today? You explanation is highly illogical, and you have not addressed the question i posed... unless you're saying it's okay to have a lop sided racial situation in the 21st century because of what some people did hundreds of years ago... please step back and take a look at your comment, it make no sense at all, What black person today was a slave?
