I hope you prevail. Any sense of when exchange rates will stabilize?
And what's happening with the stock market? I understand uncertainty
about whether elections will be held may be hurting stocks; that's
OK with me for buying, but further devaluation & resulting economic
dislocation is not.

I am considering getting back into IFN, maybe at 6 1/2.
Will check the discount at end of week.
I did well to get out when
I did; your posting your decision may have been the little prod
to action that did it for me, though I'd been considering the
decision already.

Question about inverted yield curve...

Supposedly an inverted yield curve is a harbinger of recession. But am I right in saying that it, by itself, does not cause the recession? In that case, could foreign selling of US long bonds prevent the curve from inverting when it otherwise would? And what effect would that have on a deflationary environment?
