That's BS.....................It's tragic regardless if it was alcohol related or a car accident, etc. Unfortunately, alcohol is part of youth. I reflect back on how fortunate and lucky I was that I wasn't a victim along with many of my friends.

I still remember waking up in an ambulance early in the morning on New Year's Day 1981 after a car accident (I was in the back seat; driver's side). The smelling salts could wake up a dead man. I walked away with a broken nose, concussion and cuts and bruises. The person most seriously hurt (broken short ribs) was in the front seat (passenger) and was admitted into hospital for a few days. He was the only one awake at impact. The rest of us including the driver had dozed off. Four of us walked away with minor injuries. It could have been a helluva lot worse.
