Neeka, over the years we have usually agreed on about everything I can think of. This dust up over Newt and Bain is disturbing because it appears as if we could seriously come apart on this. Newt could win any argument in a debate - as long as no one IMO checked his debate statements for life consistency. IMO Newt is a great talker on his feet - but this recent tactic simply shows essentially zero wisdom or consistency with core principals. In my mind he is damaged beyond repair. He is an opportunist who will say what the situation of the moment requires. I have lost all respect for the man - which was something I had given back despite his failings - but no more. His failings IMO are the man. Bob
