Are there enough sheople to vote for a liberal when the Conservatives stay home? McCain beat Romney because he was less liberal. Romney isn't going to win the votes of any of the people who are close to him ideologically. The Republican Party appears to be ready to ask conservatives to vote for someone with left leaning ideals. The goal is to elect the most conservative person possible. In a year when the incumbent is an idiot who has destroyed the economy Skippy the Wonder Dog could win.
