In addition it violates the Geneva Conventions, of which the US is a signatory.

I don't think that is an issue at all. The Geneva convention protects the living.
The Geneva Convention Protocols protect living:
POWs, civilians, wounded fighters, medical and religious personnel

Exactly which article(s) in the Geneva Convention do you think were violated?

Sorry you were offended by the vagaries of close combat but in this instance I believe you are pissing in the wind.

PS Nothing about close combat is pretty…never was.

I think the US military has some serious problems............recruits are getting raped, hazed and treated harshly.

You get this info at a "Occupy" rally? Total BS. The main problem with recruits is that we now treat them too nicely.

I disagree. I think the US military has some serious problems............recruits are getting raped, hazed and treated harshly......events that have led to the death of some recruits. Since 9/11, there have been a number of reports of torture, sexual harassment, and over the top brutality of prisoners. The actions of these jerks put the lives of the good soldiers in danger. Its unacceptable behavior and needs to stop. In addition it violates the Geneva Conventions, of which the US is a signatory.

It's really horrible that Obama has created an environment where this is acceptable. He's clearly not qualified to be the commander in chief.
