It doesn't matter if it is marked for export (as refined fuel) as that it will tremendously help our balance of payments problem (due to crude imports) AND will be available for domestic consumption as needed ( for instance the Straits of Hormuz are blocked) . I don't understand re: balance of payments. How do you know it will be available re: Straits of Hormuz? What about the carbon "storm" by Canada's development of these tar sands(regardless of who gets the oil)? Does this not worry you? What about the exUSA purchase of the pipes? Which for sure are from Asia and lower quality? That KXL 1 has had numerous leaks with same piping? That the Kalamazoo leak still hasn't been cleaned and it's been over 2 years.... We need Greens, and people like yourself, to remind us of our responsibilities to the whole. Even though I don't agree with Greens on everything I admire their passion and commitment to the environment. Again, you obviously don't realize how patronizing this sounds. "yeah, I need you to stir my conscience but I'm still going to do what I want to do no matter the evidence you present." If that's the case, then we're clearly at an impasse and I won't use bandwidth here trying to convince you......except to say that it won't be a position you will be proud of telling your grandchildren you supported....I know this for sure......
