Quantum Corp (QNTM) 27 13/16 -3/4: Disk drive maker plans to restructure its hard disk drive business; expects to take a charge of approximately $35 mln.... We are hosed up!!!!

We stated out strong today. But Micron Electronics (MUEI), broght the tech sector down when they announced/pre-announced an earnings disappointment. MUEI is not a bellwether and should not have brought down the entire tech sector. DELL, CPQ, QNTM etc. all reversed course when the news broke. FWIW: I orderd a PC from Micron and it took them forever to build, then after about 4 weeks they called and said it would be another week. I cancled the order and bought a DELL, I got it in about a week. (JMO) Micron is simply losing market share to DELL, IBM, CPQ, HP etc.
