Buddy didn't say no dealerships were closed, he just said Obama didn't do it, the bankruptcy court did it. Amazingly the BK court only closed republican dealerships.

My dear friend from Chicago sent me an email and corrected what I said about Obango closing GM dealers in "white" areas.

He said: "....the dealers that were closed in the Chicago area, were not only in white areas, but white suburban (republican) areas."

Re: "Really? No dealerships were closed?"

I DID NOT SAY that. (Read it again, you will see that I don't say that.)

Dealerships *were* surely closed under a plan of reorganization that GM management filed with the federal judge overseeing their bankruptcy case... in their legal, and ultimately successful, attempt to restructure, shed costs, and emerge from bankruptcy.

It is called (under the bankruptcy laws) "reorganization".
