Small cap stocks fell off a cliff the second half of last year would support ECRI discounting the next few quarters as being bad....Something has to give though when looking at other positive data here in the states..My gut tells me much of ECRI data is picking up the slowdown in the Euro and Asia as well as the impact of deleveraging and austerity here in the states. But we are near five years into this now with lots of pent up demand in much of the US, basically an' L' the past 30 months, a very steep yield curve while banks replenish and housing markets continue to firm up
