He is talking about the poverty rate in South Dakota, and you reply about guns and bibles in South Carolina and military bases?

Have you totally lost your feeble mind from the TEA PARTY DEATH SQUAD LIES?

There is something seriously wrong with you...................

"How many military bases are in the SC area? If we have a cut in our military will that percentage go up? After all, don't the politicians have to distribute the military hardware to the various Congressional districts to buy their votes contrary to President Ike's statement, not to let the military industrial complex get control of the economy."

That question was ask in last nights debate by Gerald Seib. There are 7 military bases in SC. There is a difference between military spending and defense spending. Military spending includes such things as nation building. Another example is the embassy we built in Iraq that is larger than the Vatican. By bringing troops back from overseas we can cut costs but not weaken our defense. As one of the candidates explained we can cut costs and wind up with more military personnel stationed on US soil.
