i wrote what rollins stated, and that i was in agreement with him 'from the beginning' meaning my opinion aligned with his......so we are BOTH of the same opinion that the other candidates don't have 'real' campaigns...(i wrote about this previously here and i'm not going to go digging around to locate the post, but you are welcome to)

now as i am sure you well know, ed rollins is a consummate campaign operative and when he says that the other candidates aren't running real campaigns i tend to believe him...

they have been running 'vanity' campaigns (this is MY opinion, he didn't say this, but this is what i think he means) knowing full well they didn't have the organization or money to follow through....my point of gingrich not even doing the necessary work to get on the ballot in his own state confirms my opinion about this, meanwhile santorum spent the past 6 months traipsing around in iowa without putting together any real campaign operation together in any of the early states (he doesn't have the money)...same thing about cain and bachmann...at least those 2 dropped out as soon as they realized they had no hope of going beyond iowa

this is what rollins is talking about when he says they don't have 'real' campaigns, they don't have the apparatus to run and these unprecedented, never ending debates have given people like gingrich and santorum the ability to stand on the podium with real candidates like romney and ron paul (both of whom have done the leg work to cross the finish line) even though they don't stand a chance of winning because of their lack of organization and funding

Running from? Should they not be running to? Not sure what you mean by running from that position? They are trying to avoid the issue of running because they love America?
