Can I really trust these same people to fight for the Freedoms of those in other countries, if they are unwilling to do so for American citizens?

In these days (not when the Constitution was developed), every American has to meet the bare minimum to be worthy of the rights of a US citizen. Us citizenship does not come that cheap. I am sure your parents will agree agree with that, being immigrants like I am. US citizenship and all the rights that go with it, comes for a price. surely, a person forfeits those rights when they want to kill every one of their fellow citizens for the simple reason that they are US citizens like he/she is. What an asinine thought. And for that thinking we as US citizens, through our elected reps and our system have every right to bring that person to justice and go even as far as trying that person as a non-citizen by forfeiting all rights due to a US citizen.

I don't know why you don't get this. If I have someone in my office who is violent and wants to kill everybody, I would first expel that person from the company and then turn that person over to the police.
