Thanks John. We do discourse over conservatism. Often people do it by link articles that say things they agree with. Pundits can't agree though. Moderate bombthrower Ann Coulter is firmly in the Romney camp. I used to think she was conservative, but she has revealed herself to be liberal to moderate.

I guess it is often a matter of degrees. We are used to be only able to have liberals on the formerly mainstream media. They are allowed to provide their spin mislabeled as news. We tent to glom onto anyone who sounds less leftwingnut until we finally hear something that sounds like what we believe.

2008 liberal candidate McCain endorsed liberal Romney. Governor PErry dropped out and endorsed Gingrich. Bachman and Cain dropped out but have not yet endorsed anyone.

It appears voters will have to reflect on their own and pick candidates based on their own impressions. My impression is that Bachman and Cain came closest to my views. Paul is a nutjob.

The fact that over 90% of racists voted for Obama last election is troubling. The one comforting factor is that the most racist race is declining as a percentage of the electorate as Hispanics increase. Their monomaniacle support for the party that stood against freeing slaves and against civil rights laws will diminish in importance as they decline in percentage of the population.
