Paul F., re:Clearly people do not invest in plants and factories if there is no demand for the goods being produced. Asia was to have been the engine of growth in the world economy. Now we see the truth of the situation. Or some of us do. On the contrary, firms who invest heavily on their infrastructure during times of recession when the cost of capital is low are the ones who come out WAY AHEAD during the next economic cycle. Take an ECON 101 class before spewing your garbage on this thread. joey
