Having experienced the place for 45 years, I would tend to trust my judgement over those looking for a familiar (language, culture) bolt hole to save their asses/assets from the likes of Mrs. Kitchener... No doubt they are looking for and expecting a stable currency also... And also not realizing the implications of the world wide US income tax system, should they get residency, never mind citizenship.

Jay Chen and John Williams might have some things to say about the likelihood of a stable US currency should you ask them.
