In other countries I'm familiar with - you have to do well on test to get into college. Sooooo, most definitely not unlimited education like we have.

Maybe their school systems are run sensibly. Or perhaps not so much political correctness involved, or maybe something else. Whatever, the current system assumes all is well as long as we spend even more money. Maybe the question should be why are we pouring money into a broken system? Why aren't we experimenting with new ideas, testing the performance of those ideas, and changing the system based on what we discover. Look at the successfull schools and try to emulate, instead of repeating the same mistakes over and over.
