Yeah, it seems the certainty of a Greek default keeps hanging around yet I see no solution to any of their problems.

The way I understand it the only solution would involve a strong central government and the Germans will never go for that?

I don't know how they hung on this long or maybe I am misunderstanding the equation?

Unaffordable government debt. Something that also occurs in California, Illinois, and other liberal states.

This happens when politicians promise thing like "free" education through college.
