well, no. the issues need to be aired. i fear the gop is doing its best to again commit political suicide at a critical time and with a weak president as an opponent. there is no way that newt can capture the 2-5% center which is where elections are won and lost. he is too inflammatory. everyone has to remember this hard political fact: virtually everyone has already made up their minds, they are either voting dem or gop no matter who is nominated. the moderates, the true centrists, make and break elections. that is who we are fighting for, a tiny sliver of the voters. newt cannot capture them, his rhetoric and his lack of morals and ethics will turn them off.
