that the center decides most elections is not a matter of opinion, it's a hard political fact.

Next November there will be two names (of importance) on the ballot. Obama and the Republican.

The question isn't going to be "do I like Newt?" or "do I like Romney?" it is going to be "which one of these bastards do I hate less?"

Newt may not resonate with much of the political center, but Obama has alienated many in the center as well.
