If you really believe that, Why don't you support a balanced budget amendment? That would have stopped Bush in is tracks.

Politicians of both parties are using this debt to pay off their special interests and enrich their supporters.

I would like to see that practice ended and I support a federally balanced budget every single year.

OK. I can agree that the GOP is the majority reason why we have a large debt. However, that doesn't mean that we can continue down this path. Right now, the Dems are wanting to continue to buy things we don't have the money for. Why do you think that's ok? The answer can't always be "it's ok to be irresponsible because the GOP does it too".
