Steve, We are where we are. We will not be able to make any change until after November. The major problem with Obama is the lies he told about being fiscally responsible while running. All the talk about "change".

The reality is that it will be much easier for a Democrat who gives a crap about the country - know any? - to go to the entitlement issue (as Nixon went to China).

Now he says he cannot get a deal. Maybe yes, maybe no - we have no idea what kind of deal he wants - he is a master of words that do not mean a thing. It makes its so much easier for people like you who can actually count to vote for him.

If he has a plan - let him take it to the electorate and sell it. If he does that and wins the election he deserves his plan. If he continues the beautiful lies that all your friends in the world of the protected loony left so desperately believe - he will have no mandate for any policy next year. Of course that all assumes he gives a crap about the nation.

Bob

Bush administration was clearly at fault for the economic meltdown

If Obama is not responsible because of Bush's contributions to the economic situation, then Bush isn't responsible because of Clinton's obvious contributions to the economic meltdown before Bush took office. Or did you forget the collapse of the bubble in 2000? (before Bush took office). And let's not forget that 9/11 was planned long before Bush took office. So chalk that up to Clinton too.

Ain't the blame game fun!?!?

You need to go back and read the thread, or stop smoking one of the two.
