Robert--Glad to see that you are back into IBM. I've been playing it up and down lately and haven't been doing too bad. I had to make up some losses I had on some calls I bought before the market took that unscheduled dive last month. We are going to have a goooooood 4th qtr, there,s no doubt in my mind. What's your feeling on the short term on the price between now and the time the earnings are announced in Jan.

Why wouldn't Lou expect the stock to go up?

My peak at the fundamentals ( stockfever.com ) tells me that ROE is up but the p/e is relatively low.

The only thing that scares me is I don't like stocks driven by cost savings as opposed to top line growth
