The same thoughts occurred to me as I read through his racist and hateful posts. The fact of the matter is that if I had the deciding vote to confirm either Clarence Thomas or Stephen Breyer to the Supreme Court, I would vote to confirm Justice Thomas without hesitation. His skin color is unimportant. That fact that he is a conservative and shares many of my worldviews is what matters. For the same reasons, I would vote for Thomas Sowell over any number of White liberal authors as author of the year; again, without hesitation. Would a racist choose to affirm a Black man as a Supreme Court Justice or choose a Black man as author of the year? Of course not, but jlallen conveniently ignores these facts. In contrast, notice how long it took jlallen, after much poking and prodding, to finally admit that he would not be opposed to a Black man joining The Sons of Italy (TSOI), but even then he strongly qualified his admission by effectively indicating that his Whites-only club (his characterization, not mine) was still safe because there are no Black Italians; none exist! LOL. And before he denies ever claiming that TSOI is a Whites-only club, recall that he was the one who offered up TSOI as his sole example of a Whites-only organization. He did so to rebut my claim that there are no counterparts to the numerous Blacks-only groups. He continued to assert that TSOI was Whites-only until he was finally pressured into admitting that Italian Blacks could in fact join TSOI if they exist, but, according to him, none exist, so TSOI is safe! LOL. Is it just me, or does that sound like racism coming from jlallen? -g-
